Hello! My current child care provider just took a new job, and now I am looking for someone new. I would love to find someone with the arrangement that I have a present, that being that I drop my daughter off at my care giver's house every morning around 6:30-7:00 and pick her up in the evening around 5:15. Our current provider is wonderful, and I know that it is going to be hard to find anyone else like her, but I must try. I really like that my daughter is one of only a few at her house, I can see that as far as developmentally is concerned, it has really helped her blossom. I found my current provider by word of mouth, and would love to find the next the same way. I live around 1-45 and Airtex, and work in the Galleria area so someone between the two locations would be perfect! Please please, if you have a child with someone now that you recommend, or have a friend or family member taking new children let me know. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
Check out www.houston.craigslist.com and click on child care. That's how I found our nanny and there are tons of listings updated daily for in-home child care. Good luck to you, it's a tough job trying to find someone!

If you find someone, please let me know. I too just got word today that my child care arrangements will be ending soon and Its going to be hard to find someone as good as mine was as well.
