My husband, myself and my 5 year would like to find a horse-riding facility that does trails for inexperienced riders. We don't want lessons, just a nice trail - something for us to do as a family when the weather cools down. Does anybody have any recommendations for near the Plano/Allen area (we'll go up to an hour away if needed)? I'm just trying to come up with fun family things to do on the weekends.

I take my dog out by Lake Lavon. It is a beautiful 17 mile trail. (Sometimes that is what it takes to wear him out). We see horses there all the time. I live in Plano and it is not far at all for me.
