I know they are hard to come by, but I need to have my car looked at and am wondering if anyone knows a repair place in the Flower Mound area that will give me an HONEST (and maybe free???) estimate! We are at the point now where we are trying to decide whether to keep putting money into our current car, or suck it up and get something new - though we'd have to figure out how to do two car payments...

Advanced Auto Repair in Denton. I know it's a drive for you, but I have been taking my 95 model car there for years. My husband is a professional mechanic in The Colony. He does side work as well for extra money so I am able to stay at home with our son. He doesn't believe in telling someone that they need something done just to make money, which is part of the reason I love him! He has a wonderful work ethic! we had an estimate for breaks that was supposed to cost us 1200 and he did it for 100$ plus the cost of the brake (which was around 40$ )
he has helped us continuously with little problems and big problems -

take it to kevin at kevin's automotive in denton. he is HONEST - i took my car in for an expensive repair, he said it looked like i had been jipped on a previous repair and took it to the dishonest dealer himself and convinced them to fix it properly with no charge to me. we have used him with our other vehicle as well, no complaints, very honest, and reasonable prices.
