My husband passed away over five years ago. I re-married just a little over a year ago and my new husband is like the organizer/decorator/arranger man. I was just like you, looking for someone to do all that for me. I NO IDEA how to go about it. He spent six years in the Navy and is the materials coordinator for huge power plants being built. He also has designed, furnished and deocorated a beautiful home, which he has a LOT of pictures of. He just has an eye for decor and a knack for decluttering and organinzing. I'm the kind of person who can't get it that way myself, but once it is that way I'm good at keeping it that way, putting things back where they go etc. He is between his regular work projects right now and might be someone who can really help you without you having to pay an arm and a leg. She charges $30 an hour with a 4 hour minimum (a good price for an organizer--others wanted 40-70 an hour). She knows Fung Shwei and she works quickly--amazing. You should try Flylady.net, you can declutter and organize on your own with babysteps. Great program. Best of all it is free. Check it out.

I highly recommend Shelley Hudson. She has the exact experience you're looking for to organize and decorate. She'd done projects for me and did a GREAT job and I've seen the awesome work she has done for other too. Its def worth your time to meet with her to get a quote, etc.
