Seeking Friendships with Other Moms That Are Normal

Hi K., I have a group of Mom's that get together usually about once a week. It is just a group of 4-6 of us with kids ranging in age from 1-5. Next time we get together you are more than welcome to join us. We met through our church Cross Roads Baptist on Middleground road. We have also picked up a few other Moms along the way. HEllo. I am sorry that you have not expeirence the southern hospitality that we are so known for. I have been living in Savvanah all of my life. I also love it here, but you are right it is hard to meet people. Savannah is a very family formed place. I am 35 years old and I have 2 children and 2 step-children. I have been married to a wonderful man for 13 years. I have 2 part-time jobs. I attend church and I am very active in my church. I feel strongly about raising my children in a Godly home. I think it would be awesome to get to know eachother. A lot of my friends are from church. I feel that I am a pretty normal friend. Anyway I would love to get to know you. I also love to walk, because lets face it excersise is good for you. I like to go walking at the YMCA. Let me know what you think.

hey K.! i am in a mom's group that is great. Savannah SAHM's it's listed on meetup.com, there are also a bunch of other groups on there. i am also a savannah convert - moved here from San Francisco and hated it. now we love it here, great place for my children to grow up! sadly we are leaving savannah this summer but i would love to meet for a playdate. i have 1 yr old twin boys who need alot of socializing. email me if you like: ____@____.com

I am so sorry you haven't found any luck making any mom friends. I know they are so important to help keep your sanity, especially with the toddler age! I have a 2& 1/2 year old boy and belong to a playgroup and those moms have become some of my closest friends. Actually, the first message you got from Michelle is one of the wonderfully ladies in the playgroup I am in. Feel free to email me ____@____.com a great place to meet other moms are at library storytimes. The West Chatham Library in Pooler has an awesome storytime for toddlers. They aren't expected to sit still and be quiet but get around and dance and participate. They have storytime there Wen & Thurs at 10:30. I go on thurs and my son LOVES it!
