Where is a good place to shop for nice dresses in either Plano or Allen?
I would like to find a fully lined(so I don't have to worry about a slip or see through) A line/knee length style dress. Also, I prefer it to have short sleeves - so no sleeveless. A lot of the dresses I'm looking at, are unlined, and therefore I think they would probably be see through which I don't like. Also, I need it to be conservative.......
I wear size 6-8 depending on the manufacturer.
Any ideas?

I am not a conservative dresser, however, anytime I need a nice classy dress, I go to Neiman-Marcus. You can't go wrong. They have some very nice selections in different "types" for everyone. The least expensive one I have purchased (not on sale) was around $150 up to about $500. Northpark is my Neiman's of choice.
Nordstrom's has some very nice clothing for women.

You may want to try Ann Taylor. They usually have classic styles, and the dresses I have purchased were conservative and lined.
Labels at frankford and preston is an upscale resale with many conservative, well made clothes. It is a nice store where you don't have to dig through racks of outdated clothing. Not quit Plano but close enough for the quality/price.
Try some of the area consignment stores - Baubles & Beads on Coit in Richardson is a good one. I like resale for great buys on better dresses.
What about the outlet in Allen. We found a great dress at the Neiman Marcus this past fall. It was $20; fully lined; it was definitely an off-season purchase. (Spring dress) I'm sure they would have a variety of fashions available this time of year.
I love Ann Taylor!! You can also try White House Black Market, Nordstrom, probably even Dillards.
