Hi, Due to my husbands new job we have to switch out of Kaiser and into Aetna. That means all new Dr's. I think we will get PPO so I guess that means you are open to any Dr, right? I live in Fremont, CA and really need recommendations for them all:
1. Pediatrician
2. Family/General Pracitioner
3. OB/GYN (prefer female here)

Dr. Dugoni at Souteast Bay Pediatrics is AWESOME!! Dr. Slack and Kirkjiann at Women's health specialist are great ob/gyn. Both practices are great and they are both in fremont in the same complex on mowry ave. and stivers dr.!!!!

Before I had to switch to Kaiser I was with Dr. Alison Slack from the Women's Health Specialists in Fremont. I loved her, and wish I could have stayed with her! They are located in Fremont, right on Mowry across from Washington Hospital. The staff is great, and the office is very well kept. When I delivered my son,Dr. Slack wasn't available, so I delivered with Dr. Aleman-Martin (I think thats her name) and she was wonderful too. I highly recommend them! Also, my son just switched over to South East Bay Pediatric Medical Group in Fremont, off Mowry I believe. Dr. Patrick Burke was recommended to me also by a mamasource member, and although I didn't take my son to the appt. my husband said he like them. Good luck, hope you find what you're looking for!

i think you'll find some really good people and care at PAMF, that's palo alto medical foundation - fremont. they are located on kearny st. right off of paseo padre. i'm not sure where you are in fremont but i've been going to my ob there for several years and my daughter's pedi there is great. all the dr's are very knowledgable and the pedi are all very conservative w/ their approach in treating children, especially when it comes to medication and such. check out their website. http://pamf.org/fremont/ i hope that helps!

I LOVE Dr. Susan Hsu. She's a family practicioner, but I am using her for my daughter's pediatricion as well. She is so caring and never acts rushed like she doesn't have time to answer your questions.
For OB I use Dr. Craig Johnson, he's at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. I really like him, I know you want a female though, and Dr. Burrs from PAMF is who delivered my daughter and she was wonderful. If I was going to switch, I would switch to her.
For a Pediatrician check out South East Bay Pediatric Medical Group. It's a long name, but the doctors there are FANTASTIC. My son is 4 and his pediatrician there is Dr. Unson, but we've seen all of the doctors and they are great. I really feel like we get "care" there, we're not just shuffled through like sheep.
As for an OB/GYN try the Women's Health Specialists group. We have Dr. Kirkjian, but have met several of the other doctors and have really liked them.

I also prefer a female ob/gyn and I go to Dr. Stacey Barrie. she's located on mowry ave. in fremont. her ph. # is ###-###-####. she seems to very accurate and know's what she's doing.
