My son had to go to counseling for ADHD. I don't know if this will help. He went to Dr. Kristine Eickhoff,Ph.D. Located on Sunset Office Dr. in Crestwood. The # is ###-###-####.
Does anyone know of a good counselor for specifically dealing with anger issues in both adults and children or teenagers? There are a lot of quacks out there that can't hold their own life together so I want to make sure that whomever we choose is a good one. Thanks

The St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute is great for all behavioral issues. People come from all over the country to get treatment there. I'm more familiar with their doctors who treat anxiety and panic disorders, but I know all of their other docs are just as reputable.
They're on Macklind, behind the Forest Park campus of St. Louis Community College, a few blocks south of 40 and west of Kingshighway. Here's their website: http://www.slbmi.com
I just checked, and Dr. Flanery is the director of the Child and Adolescent Services Team at SLBMI.

My daughter had some anger issues around the time she was thirteen. I took her to Randy Flanery who I found through a referral where I worked. We were very happy with him. He is a parent of many children...I can't remember how many now (my daughter is now 21).
I hope this is helpful!
L. - we used a lady named Dr. Judith Tindall for my 7 year old daughter. SHe is in the St. Chalres area but she may be able to recommend someone in your area. She was wonderful and did all the testing for different things (depression and anxiety and such) that we couldn't get anyone else to do. I will need to look up her number but I will get it to you ASAP. Best of luck

Jerry Clerc is a wonderful psychologist that my family has been working with. I have two stepsons who are with us over the summer and several weekends and holidays, and one of them has severe anger issues. Just within a few visits this summer, Jerry made a big difference with him. (This stepson is 8, and my other stepson that he has been working with is 10.) I've only know Jerry for a few months, but I have been around the block with psychologists, social workers, the whole bit, and I am impressed with him. He works with Phoenix Psychological Associates, and their phone # is ###-###-####. They are located in Clayton. He may also work out of other offices, I'm not positive.
