I know several moms have asked for hair advice many time and I have gone back through the past year and read them all. I didn't see where anyone asked specifically for a great colorist for blonde hair (foiled highlights) my all time favorite colorist moved and I have been searching for a new "favorite." The problem is, I can't find anyone who will get the highlights close enought to my scalp so when I pull up my hair in a ponytail (which I do a lot) it looks like I have two different colors going on, where the hair is back it is dark and the ponytail is blonde (even the day after I have it colored). I know this can be done because the colorist that moved away was able to achieve the look I was wanting, I don't even mind doing an all over color and then applying highlights. If possible, I would like to find someone that can both color and cut, anywhere in Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Allen, Carrollton, Rockwall area would be great, although, I am open to any suggestions.

I have the same problem, and my beautician finally got it right. I had to tell her how much I hated roots A LOT, but I think she's got it down now. She does highlights and lowlights, and that seems to work. Her name is Angel, and her salon, Angel Hair Salon, is on the northwest corner of Buckingham and Jupiter in Richardson. I know what you mean I'm 42 and have a 3 and 4 year old boy and if younger would have a housefull. Theres a lady named Cheryl off of coit and cambell. A shopping center right pass Canes Chicken. In the shopping center by the clock tower there a salon with individual rooms inside like a courtyard. I have a great hairdresser I have used for many years. He can do you hilights and cut your hair. Through all the years he has been my hairdresser, he's done a fantactic job and he is very reasonable.
