Seeking Church Home

Hi Tam,

We live in North FW and go to Harvest Church on 377. We've attended there since 2000. When we first moved to this side of town, I refused to go there, because of the past issues. But, we visted and loved it. I work there part time in the nursery, I've been on the Women's Council, done VBS, you name. They have great programs. My children are 4 and 7, so I can only vouch for the children's ministry. My kids love it. But, what I like most is the preacher. He is a Godly man who loves the Lord. He preaches the word, not tickle your ears. The praise and worship is great! We love it.

hi saw your request when i was just looking for my family i use dthe internet and did a search for churches with my area and zip code and i got quite a few all though iam not A A so iam not sure how any their are is the area u want i know there are some in east fort worth but that area is not the best .... hopw this helps..you

I would like to recommend a church for you; it is Christ Chapel Bible Church off of Montgomery and I-30, near the Botanical Gardens. It is not an African American church, but we are a body with many parts and colors. The teaching is great, and services off contemporary or traditional. There is also adult education, a great children’s program, Mom's groups, small groups, and Thursday morning women's study with free child care.

I would love to welcome you myself, but we have recently moved for a job change, but I can set you up with wonderful people to welcome you if you just want to check it out.

I am a member of a church in southwest Ft. Worth. The name is Tabernacle of Praise Ft. Worth, you ust have to come out and enjoy one of our services. We have a 9am and a 11am sunday service. It is a very multi-cultral family oriented church.

have you tried st. john baptist in southlake?

Our church is diverse, and it's kind of similar to Gateway. We actually used to go to Gateway, but it was a little too far and very big. Milestone is wonderful, and it's in Keller at Willis Lane and North Tarrant. www.milestonechurch.com We actually will be moving to 1709 soon right near the Keller High School. We bought a building there last year, but another church is leasing it from us until they finish building a new one. Good luck looking for your church home!

I would like to recommend my church to you. I go to Trinity Baptist Temple in Saginaw. The website is www.tbtchurch.org. I'm African American and this is a mixed church. My husband and i love it. We've been memebers for almost 3 years.

Even though we haven't visited there yet, I've heard great things about St. John Baptist in Southlake. They just built a brand new church off Kimball.

I attend a small family-oriented church on the North side of FW near the Stockyards. I love my church home and my church family. Feel free to visit us. If you want a big church, I can ask a friend who attend a large AA congregation, but I'm not sure if it's on the northside.

Have you ever heard of Fellowship Church? We have opened a new campus here in Downtown Fort Worth! The actual address is 508 Carrol St. It is across the street from Montgomery Plaza. Pastor Ed Young always preaches a good message. One that you actually feel you can apply to your life.They have an excellent children's program as well!
