We go to the Bluebonnet Festival in Ennis every year because the have the MOST BEAUTIFUL bluebonnets pic you could ever take! Google ennis, Tx and you will find it. Their Festival this year is the 13th thru the 15th of April!
Last year due to the drought, they weren't very pretty, but I found some over there in Plano by Spring Creek & Parket and took lots of photos of my son. Turned out great!
