I am looking for a fun place to have a birthday party for my daughter and nephew who are turning 5! We have done the Caesar land and ChuckECheese in the past but want to explore other ideas this year, in the Lansing area. Anyone with suggestions please help!! Thank you!

I've attended/had parties at Playing Picasso (paint your own pottery), Fenner Nature Center, Impression 5, NCG Theater, and Jumpin' Jax. All were great fun and appropriate for 5 year olds.
We have had nice, albeit expensive, birthday parties at Twistars in Dimondale, nice, slightly less expensive ones at Edru Skating rink in Holt. Also, if every one swims, Court One does swim parties. But, my favorite is a group trip to Impression Five Museum. We did cake at home afterwards, so I do not know if the Museum has facilities for that. But great fun was had.
Best luck,L.,
Try a birthday party at Twistars. They have a birthday room, provide everything but the cake (decorations, table wear and will even do the invites for you!) Plus, they handle the clean-up as well. It's great for both sexes and if you have kids of different ages coming - there is something for everyone!
Good luck!
You can have parties at Preuss. They even include a lesson with their package.
