Hello moms,

I think I am a product junky. I am on the search for skin care products that really benefit your skin. I am 33 years old and have just recently started to notice many fine lines around my eyes as well as slight loss of firmness in my face. I do have sensitive skin, I still have breakouts sometimes and have dry skin. I am looking for recommendations on products you have tried and really have noticed a difference with your problem areas, and wrinkles.

Does a product really exist? Lol

Thanks in advance.

I swear by Arbonne's RE9 line...http://aperfectmoment.myarbonne.com. My face used to break out and be dry at the same time and the products have truly helped. I am 36 now and I have had endless people tell me I look like I'm in my early 20's. My mom is 63 and she gets complimented on her skin all the time too...she uses the products as well and she doesn't look 63 either!!

Retin A. Your age is a good time to start using it. Use it very sparingly though, as you can get really flaky and red if you use too much. Retin A really does retard the aging process when used regularly.

And yes the Obagi/Retin A combo is good, but it's a little expensive.

I use Obagi with Retin-A. You have to get a prescription for the Retin-A. It works really well and NO I am not selling it. :)

I am a Clinique fan. I have used the Clinique line since I was around 12 and I am 48.

I easily pass for early 30's. My 15 yr old daughter has used Clinique since she started facial products.

At this point, I use the Repairwear Series and LOVE IT. I also use the Clinique sunscreen daily on my face and hands.

Daughter uses the Acne wash to maintain blemish free skin and the dramatically different Gel moisturizer.

I cannot say enough about these products. If something does not work for you, you CAN get your money back. It is sold through many department stores and online so you are not dealing with MLM's etc.

My stores of preference are Neimans and Nordstrom....they carry the highest line of Clinique which can get very pricey but I have not regretted one dollar of my Clinique spending. Dillards, Macy's Belk all carry the line and stand by it.

The results say it all when people cannot believe I am actually 48. I will use Clinique til I die, as will my daughter because she lives with seeing the results for me and knows she is going in the same direction with great skin.

A time machine is what you need if you want to get rid of those.

I like M. Kay. My skins just feels better when I use it! If you want to message me, I'll give you the website of my consultant. She has been doing it for a long time and she really knows her stuff and her own skin shows it! Good luck.

Botox. It's the gold standard. If you freeze up the area around the eyes that is making the crows feet, it should also make the loss of firmness on the cheeks less noticeable, assuming this is a problem for you. Ultimately, you might need a mini-face lift in a few years. As far as products go, I like Obagi Nu Derm, but don't use the blender because it just dilutes the Retin-A and wastes it! The secret to getting yourself acclimated to Retin-A is to exfoliate very well with a good product. Oro Gold makes a good one, but it is so expensive. I found an exfoliator at Whole Foods--can't remember the name of it--that is made out of bamboo and it works almost as well as Oro Gold. Once you start using Retin-A, don't give up on it because you will lose the benefits of it. If you get too red, you should take a night off from it, but don't leave it for weeks at a time. Also, use it only at night because it breaks down in sunlight so it is just a waste of money to use it during the day. If your skin can handle it (that is, not break out), use an antioxidant as well, but be prepared to shell out some cash for a decent one.
