Did you have any luck finding a suitable pediatrician in your area?
If so, I would love to know who and where.
Thanks!!!
Hi, I am looking for a good doctor who will first welcome and also guide an alternative vaccine schedule in Glen burnie, pasadena, millersville area in Maryland although I don't mind driving if worthed. I am tired of doctors who completely change their attitude when they hear about my concern/decision about vaccines. I read some postings on this issue from other states and seems like there are many doctors who are willing to work with this "pleasantly" or even welcoming the idea. However, I haven't been able to locate one here in Maryland so far. Any help please?
Thanks to everyone who replied. It's great to know that I am not the only one who has experienced this. I am still searching and I will keep going. I can't believe with all the growing evidence/data and the conflict of interest involved in this issue, the pediatricians still choose to remain blind. "There is no research that proves a causal relationship" is their favorite line and they won't hear anything else. And yes, even those that first say they will support you do change later on. Good luck to all the mothers out there who stands firm on their ground despite the pressure imposed by doctors. I will update if I finally find a pediatrician I am looking for.
Thanks again, and please send me a message if you can recommend anyone!

Check on Dr. Sears website. I believe he has a listing of doctors, by state, that are amenable to alternative vaccination schedules.
We have Kaiser Permanente Insurance and the doctors that we deal with did not have a problem with me stretching out the shot schedule. At least they never said anything to me. Not sure if this helps, but I really like my Kaiser Pedatricians.
The following is a wonderful doc for that, but she is in Clarksville near Columbia. Not sure if she is accepting patients. . . http://www.searspediatrics.com/
Good luck with that. I found a pediatrician that I thought was supportive even though she didn't agree with our decisions. That all changed when we refused the MMR for my 15-month-old son a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, the alternative vaccination schedule was fine, but this is crossing a line. Even if the doctor says they're okay with it, you aren't guaranteed continued support. I wish you better luck.
