We have recently made the decision to move to the suburbs however we want to keep our condo in the city and rent it out. So far we have listed it on Craig’s List, Apartments.com and have contacted a few apartment finder places (but have not heard back). Does anyone have any suggestions regarding other resources for posting a rental listing? We are willing to use an agency and pay the one months rent fee however if we could get a referral of someone great you have worked with that would be best.

We had really good luck renting out our condo on craigslist. Make sure you have a really descriptive and attractive listing. Also, make sure you include photos if you haven't already. Also, you may want to compare the rent your asking for with other similar apartments in your area (on craigslist). This helps set a reasonable rental cost that on par with everything else out there. P.S. Not sure if you're a member of the Northside Parent Network (npnparents.org), but that would be another good place to post an ad. I'd also recommend send and e-mail with a descriptiona nd photos out to everyone you know. Someone is bound to know someone who needs a place.

We have had great success with The Apartment People, you have to pay one month's rent to them as a finder's fee, but we just rented out condo in a week through them! We rented another condo within three months with the same condo two years ago. They are very professional!!
