Hi- I'm hoping someone can help me. We moved here last summer from NYC, and I am only now experiencing the worst allergies I've ever had- I guess it's because I haven't been with "nature" for 12 years! Anyway, I've had success with acupuncture in the past- wondering if anyone knows any good practitioners in the area. Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

Hello! I know of a great acupuncturist in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philly (close to the Art Museum):

Still Waters Therapies
http://www.stillwaterstherapies.com/

It's a great office that I frequent monthly for massage - a special treat to myself that I think every mom deserves :)

Hi R.

I know a great acupuncturist....but she is in Center City (Queen Village) Philly at 6th & Carpenter Sts. Not sure if that works for you.

Lauren Buckley Acupuncture

She has private one on one sessions and also "community" sessions which are individual care in a group setting ... and are a sliding fee scale ($20 - $40) based on your income. Private sessions are $90 an hour I believe. I have done both and think that if you are comfortable discussing your needs in a public setting where others might overhear, the community sessions are great. If you want more description of what this is like, just let me know.

I highly recommend her. If you go, tell her I sent you!

I loved my acupuncturist, Dr. Zhu, that I used a few years ago. She is in Ambler but also has offices in philadelphia. Ambler is probably closer. She was recommended to me by both my doctor and my massage therapist. here is her website http://healingacupuncturepa.com/home.nxg. I know she also works on a few of the Sixers players since I've seen them there. good luck. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
