My divorce is going on 7 years long now and I am in dire need of a new lawyer. My previous lawyer exhausted my retainer and was working with my ex's lawyer to draw things out. After 3 years now, nothing has progressed. Please, if anyone knows anyone good in the San Diego area, and ideally not going to break the bank, I would be more than grateful! Thanks!!

Anne Howard is a great attorney that I highly recommend. She's located in Carlsbad but does practice in SD as well as North County. She is tough yet very understanding and goes out of her way to do what's best for her clients. She also does mediations and collaborative.

My divorce is under Washington state jurisdiction, so my attorney is in Seattle, but I have consulted with M. to get a second opinion on things since I am now residing in San Diego. My mother is an attorney and knows/recommends M.. I have found her to be knowledgeable and helpful.
Nick Leito is a great family Lawyer in san diego. I can't speak to his fees, and don't have his number but he is an accomplished lawyer and a great guy.
