Seeking a Good OB/GYN in Gilbert

K, I know you said Gilbert. And I am only saying this dr because I drive from the middle of no where in Queen Creek to see him, My drs name is James Scott I used to live in Mesa and I saw him then for my first son who is now 4 And we moved and I got pg and I went to him for my daughter who is now 7 months I LOVE this dr I mean BEYOND and I am VERY picky I will drive a million miles for the worlds best dr.. Also, I delivered my son at Banner Desert and we also drove all the way to Desert again to have my Daughter they are BEYOND clean and VERY respectable of your wishes and VERY good staff.. I love it there.. And Also Treat my husband VERY well.. BOTH the Hospital and the DR or on Dobson and the 60.. Goodluck to you hope I helped!

Chandler Regional was very nice. Everyone there was very sweet and helpful. Also the emergency room for little ones at Banner Desert on Southern and Dobson is great. Quick and helpful.

I wanted a nurse midwife, so ended up going to Bethany Women's Center in Mesa and ended up delivering at Phoenix Baptist, even though I live in Gilbert. It was worth the drive - great experience with the midwives and the hospital!

I had my worst experience at Dr. Christine Brass-Jones' office. I always had to wait at least 30 minutes for every appointment. Her office staff is not friendly and extremely unprofessional. They didn't bill my insurance ontime so I had to pay for my annual exam out of pocket. I could go on and on. I went there for 2 years and I will never set foot in that office again!

Hi! I have a 2 year old son. I am diabetic and was considered to be high-risk, so I was sent to a obgyn clinic where all of the doctors were specialists. It is located in Gilbert, on Baseline and Country Club, and is called Phoenix Perinatal. At first, I didn't like going there because there are 16 different doctors and you don't get used to just one, but the more I went the more I realized that I was in really good hands there. One of the doctors there is Dr. Elliott, he is a doctor that is often on the news for being a specialist in delivering multiple births and other high-risk births. I don't know if you are high-risk or not, but this was a great place, and at the very least you could always ask them to refer you to an obgyn for normal delivery.
As far as hospitals go, I went to Banner Desert (Southern and Dobson) and it is the best!!! Everyone was so nice, and they really know what they are doing. The only hospital I can definitely tell you to avoid is Mesa General!!! They are terrible, I actually know of someone who went in to have a broken arm treated, but was otherwise totally healthy, and they died there. I have heard of many horror stories and nothing good has ever been said of that place.

I would highly recommend Dr. Christine Brass-Jones at the True Harmony Wellness Center (www.trueharmonywellness.com). It is in Mesa though. I delivered at Banner Baywood on Power, it was awesome. They were so wonderful, I had a great experience. My daughter had to be in the nursery because of being born prematurely and they took excellent care of her and me.
