On the thyroid issue, let me share something with you. Because I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of MonaVie. These are postings that I came across from other Distributors.

I still have my thyroid, but have hypothyroidism and take Armour (this is an excellent choice because it is natural and gives you both T3 and T4 instead of just T4 like Synthroid). I believe MV is a great supplement for anyone including those of us with thyroid issues. Just some advice though...it is suggested that all people on thyroid med's take any supplements 3-4 hrs AFTER there thyroid med (first thing in the AM). For that reason I wait until lunch to take my MV. Yes, I know, MV is really just food, but as we all know ACAI is loaded with calcium, which is one of the things that can interfere with the absorption of your thyroid med. It's recommended that you don't even have any dairy products either too soon around the time of taking your thyroid med. So just to make the best of both..I take MV and my other vitamins away from my thryoid med. Hope that helps!!!

I had been on synthroid my whole adult life, then went through a pituatary brain tumor and put on coritsol of which I was told I would have to continue the rest of my life. I have been on MonaVie a year now and my intuition told me I didn't need the cortisol anymore. I did not tell my dr. I just went off. In the past when I tried that, I would end up in the hospital needing an IV. This time I felt great. After 4 weeks I went and got the usual blood work for my issue and everything came back normal. That is when I told the doc. She was in disbelief but cool about it. That gave me the courage to try the same with the thyroid and I am happy to say I have been off of that for 3 months now!! Something I never dreamed possible. My pituatary is kicking in and functioning for the first time since 1994. MonaVie is regulating the hormones I feel younger than I have in 20 years....esp for being 49. It is true, give the body what it needs and it will heal itself! LS

Your story gives me hope. I have been on thyroid medication for about 10 years. I have many family members on synthroid also. My grandmother just recently had her thyroid levels checked and they have lowered her synthroid dose. She has only been drinking Mona Vie for approx. 2 months. Mona Vie is the only change she can contribute the change in her thyroid to. She had radiation treatment for cancer 17 years ago that killed her thyroid. So this is somewhat of a miracle.
