My daughters go to Fellowship in Grapevine. Ed Young is the pastor - I really enjoy visiting. He brings down-to- earth messages.

It may be too far, but we would love to have you at North Richland Hills Church of Christ! It is very loving and you will be blessed by the many programs offered and the Single Parents minister, Pam, is a wonderful woman! It is up Loop 820 exit at Rufe Snow! You can e-mail the church at RHCC.com, to find out more!

We go to Harvest in Watauga. It has a great children's ministry. There is a special needs ministry were people help out with kids that need special help. It is also a non-denominational, multi-racial church were everyone is loved. Our kids love this church and ask us all week long when are we going to Harvest. Our oldest has autism and they have brought him out of his shell and he sings in front of the church. Our girls are very active in the children's ministry and really love learning about the Lord. We have Bible studies at 9 AM on Sunday and worship services start at 10:30 AM. We go to the Bible study called Fun in the Son. Come by on Sunday and join us for a great time witht the Lord. Feed the kids breakfast, they only get snacks, but we have breakfast in class and then Bible study.

Have you checked out Gateway? I have many friends in your area who attend Gateway Church and absolutely love it. Even though it is huge, they have many small groups and ministries for specific things. I have visited and been very impressed. Here's the link: http://gatewaypeople.com/index.php?action=abt_vision

Good luck! B. P.
P.S. We attend Pantego Bible Church in Fort Worth off of I-30 and Eastchase Blvd. We absolutely love our church. If you're interested in visiting, here's the website for more info:

Northwood Church in Keller (Rufe Snow & North Tarrant Pkwy) is where we go, and also where I work currently. It's a GREAT church and we have a WONDERFUL special needs ministry....Classes for special needs children/young adults on Sunday mornings and then twice a month, we hold REVIVE, which is a 4 or 5 hour time on Fridays where the parents can drop their special needs child(ren) and their other children off at the church so that they can go out for their own time together while volunteers from our church watch the kids. Come check us out! Our Sunday services are at 9:30 and 11:00.

It may be a little out of the area you are looking for, but we think it is well worth driving. I would check out Irving Bible Church. It has everything you are looking for...multi-racial, non-denominational, and has a one on one special needs ministry as well as a great children's ministry and awesome preaching team. We have been attending for around 4 years and love it.

I'd recommend Calvary Chapel Grapevine, it is non-denominational and not sure if they are big enough yet to have a special needs ministry but they certainly will give the special devotion to those children to show them the word and love of Christ.

Our church is not in the are that you are asking about, but I wanted to let you know of a special needs ministry we have. It's called Kids Night Out and one night a month for three hours, volunteers come and take care of special needs children and their siblings so parents can have a night off to do whatever- go on a date, run errands, go home and sleep or relax, whatever. I am the ministry leader of this program so I'd be happy to give you more information if you are interested.

you might check out "the Met" off Golden triangle and I35. We visited there last Wed night and they asked me if we needed special care for our kids. It was a great, upbeat, but with loud music (We were at worship Wednesday). I have not been there on a Sunday. They have a very secure kids area, I felt very comfortable leaving my kids there. Good luck.
