Montessori is a wonderfull way of educating your child. It is very individual based learning not clssroom. It is also very expencive. Another fabulous alternative for preschool is a cooperative preschool. This is where the parent is involved in the daily workings of the classroom, works in the classroom 2 - 3 times per month and helps with decisions involving the school. This is a great way to be involved with your childs education. This solution is very economical!! One of the best ones I have found is in Livonia. It is called Academic Pathways a Cooperative Preschool (it used to be Mt. Hope). The teacher is amazing!!
