My daughter is unsure of her swimming abilities, so I'd like her to have swim lessons around Ply/Can/Livonia area ASAP. Maybe even private lessons. Where's a reputable place to go?
Collen, The YMCA has a swimming class on Stark Road in Livonia or Canton. My daughter enjoyed her swimming instructions at the Y.

The Livonia Rec Center is great.
Livonia Parks and Rec has a beautiful facility where we took my son this past spring. They have a ton of different classes and you don't have to be a resident of the city to participate, it just cost about $10 more. You can get a listing of classes on their website.
Lifetime Fitness is great. You don't have to be a member to take lessons.
Summit on the park in canton has a good program, as does the livonia and canton school districts
