I attend Liberty Baptist Church. I came from a very small church and at first I thought I wouldn't like Liberty because it's a mega church. I found out that the people are nice, the church is awesome and the preacher preaches what God wants him to preach. Here is a website: www.lbcmin.com. There are 5 services on Sunday to choose from: 2 at 9:15 am, 2 at 1100 am, and one at 6 pm. Let me know if you're coming, I'll meet you and help you with your daughter and in service. If there are any special needs, let me know so we can get you accommodated. Our staff is ready for anything. My daughter is autistic and they are wonderful with her.

My name is S.. I live in Hampton which is very close to Newport News. My family and I go Liberty Bapstist Church. We have been going here for 8 years and we love it!! We attend Northside Christian Church. It is on the border of York county and Newport News. We have been attending a while and really feel great about thier focuses on the family unit! They always seem to put family and kids first and that means alot to us! I love the children's pastor Patti Peters! They also have a MOPS or Mother's of Preschoolers program that allows moms to have some grown up time while your little ones are downstairs being taken care of. We have great speakers, crafts and breakfast the first and third Wed of every month. We would love to have you come and fellowship with us. Also I noticed that your church was technologically aware and while Northside is very much so on Sunday's their website is not up to par with them, but their kids site is great. northsidekids.com.. We have a number of military folks already at our church, and, as I said, a growing number of young families. I have a 4-year-old daughter, Sydney, and a 15-month-old daughter, Savannah.

If you are interested in coming this Sunday, we meet at 4pm on Harpersville Rd (almost where it intersects Warwick Blvd) and I'd be glad to meet you somewhere if that is easier. I also co-lead a Bible Study on Wed. mornings (with childcare) that some of our stay-at-home moms attend, and we'll have three more weeks after Thanksgiving if you are interested in a more personal, intimate time of fellowship. We're having a Craft Day event on Sat., Dec. 8th as well if you are looking for multiple types of building relationships and having fun! I'll stop now as I'm sure this is a very long message, but I really love my church and love to tell people about it! (oh, and if you want to listen to sermons, they are online too - my husband is the pastor - I probably should mention that just because sometimes if I don't people are surprised when they see that my last name matches his and I didn't say anything).
