Hi,
I live in the Cary area.. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good seamstress or dry cleaners who would do alterations for my dress for my daughter's wedding. I just need it to be hemmed and possibly taken in.. its a little big.. anyone know of a very reliable person or place I could go to?? Also.. any brides out there happy with their limo service and would like to pass on a recommendation?? THANKS SO MUCH!

She is a friend of mine since 8th grade and does a very good job and even makes clothes. However she is in Fox Lake/Ingleside Area... don't know how that is in relation to Cary.
I use Athena Hellas Jetway for business purposes. Although I prefer that they pick me up in a car, they sometimes pick me up in a limo so I know that they have them. They are professional and reliable.
I used Crystal Lake Alterations for a bridesmaids dress and they were excellent. I needed it taken in and shortened and she got it done in 3 days and it was not easy to take in b/c the seams made a v in the back so she had to take it in in multiple locations. they are located next to After Hours formal wear on Rt. 14. good luck!
We used GNT Limo out of Crystal Lake (Main ST.) for our wedding in 2003 (and for all airport trips since). The driver was great....my own wedding day story...on the way to our picture site our limo was hit by another driver, the limo driver made sure to check on all of us and make sure we were okay and then made sure we had another limo come asap....then they moved the all of our stuff over and restocked everything for us. They even cut our bill in half since everything had gone wrong....I still paid in full and and gave our drive a huge tip since she had been so great. The accident was not our driver's fault and she went above and beyond in service to keep everyone calm and happy.....the management staff everyone there was very easy to work with!
