Try the Salvation Army I know that they usually do back to school things and even if they don't they network with many agencies and would be able to tell you who could help. Blessings on you.

I think I remember getting a flyer for fellowship of the parks (church) giving out backpacks w/ supplies on Aug 5th.
You didn't say what part of town you lived in, I know our church will be collecting school supplies for the Wesley center in N. Fort Worth. If you live in Keller ISD or Northwest ISD, the Keller Community Storehouse may be an option. It seems like the city of Fort Worth does a back to school giveaway, but I don't have any info about it. You can call 211 for United Way and they may have info or contact Catholic Charities (you don't have to be Catholic to get help)
Good Luck
I think the House of Hope in Crowley is giving out supplies. Im not sure of the requirements. Look them up online and give them a call.
