Scheduled Repeat C-section

I also had a repeat c-section and at my 38 wk visit I believe they scheduled mine and I had it on the day I was 39 wks. So I would definetly call your dr.

You should schedule it as soon as possible. Normally you have your section for week 39

I would call your OB today and request to be put on the schedule. My sister-in-law's 2nd c-section was scheduled a full 3 months before my nephew was born.

NOW! I would call my doctor and wait until I could speak with him. You are paying him, you have the right to ask him questions. Maybe he already has you on his schedule or something. Call him this morning and ask for his nurse and wait until you get an answser. Good luck and many blessings!

My guess is right around your due date. I would call and check or ask at your next appointment, since you are so close to the due date.

My repeat c-section was done on the day that I turned 39 weeks so I would definitely call and get it scheduled you don't want to go into labor for no reason - believe me :)!!

Hi C., I would definitely call your doctor. I too had a c section with my first child and am doing the same this time. I am currently 34 weeks and we scheduled the c section when I was about 30 weeks. I am actually scheduled at 39 weeks. Definitely call and talk to your OB

I was scheduled about three months before the baby was due, to deliver about the day I turned 39 weeks. It's possible the OB expected you to call and schedule yourself, so call the OB's office and find out!

Good luck! I had a repeat C-section and it takes longer to recover the second time. Or maybe it seems that way because I had a toddler to take care of, too. I spent a lot of time reclining on our pull-out couch bed, reading stories to my toddler and feeding him crackers, dried fruits, and bottled water, because I couldn't get up and down easily for a while.

I would think you would have already been secheduled for the csection. My first child was born csection. So when I was pregnant they said a csection would be best. I agreed. So probably after a month when they were pretty sure of my due date the scheduled the csection a week before my due date. So all along I knew when I was going to have my baby. Every time I went in and they made sure I was still due my date was still a week before given nothing was going to change. I had my csection a week before my due date. It was really nice knowing the exact date. I would talk to you doctor. You should have a date make sure they didnt just forget to tell you. I hope all goes well. :) Congrats.
