i haven't heard of that, but i just had back surgery & am using vitamin E & natural aloe - it's working. I also know a plastic surgeon that said the scar remedies don't work & are very expensive. I tried Mederma -it did nothing for me. Good luck!

I haven't heard of that one. A nurse friend suggested Mederma. She said her doctor recommend (and used it for her son) over any prescription scar care.

It has worked really well for me. Both on a scar on my face and on my knee after knee surgery.

It is a bit expensive, but I'm still on my same tube... a little goes a long way.

Good luck.

I just looked it up and it's Fraxel, laser treatment for acne scars. If it's a scar other than acne, I like mederma and belli products. Good luck!

Hi Lori
I have not heard of that product but someone recommended Kelocote to us after our son's cleft surgery. I'm not sure if the surgery just went well or the Kelocote helped but others swear by it. I will send you pictures of my son's scar if you like...you'd never know he had surgey! He has virtually no scar.
Here's the website: http://www.kelocote.com/
Best of Luck

This may sound silly, but a cosmetic surgeon recommended strips of silicone that adhere over scars. For some reason, leaving silicone over old or newer scars really reduce them (though I think you have to keep using it for a month or two). You can probably get some from a plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Hi Lori J,
I haven't heard of this product and am not sure what type of scars you have. I'm an Avon representative (Avon Spoken Here, posted on MamaSource) and would like to tell you about a new Avon product for helping reduce the appearance of stretch marks - Anew Clinical Professional Stretch Mark Smoother (contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids - AHA). I don't recommend things I haven't tried myself and want to let you know that this does help improve the visible signs of my stretch marks. The regular size will be available in June but you can get a 2-week trial size for $2.99 with any $10 Avon purchase (#382632). Another product I use, Solutions Banishing Cream Skin Discoloration Improver ($8.50 for a 2.5 fl. oz. jar) helps even out skin tones and could help with scars. You can order the products online from www.youravon.com/darvieux and receive free shipping.
