So What Happened?

Apparently his bail was revoked and he was taken into custody immediately.

When is he being sentenced?

I knew 3 were dropped, but I am glad he was found guilty - sad it took so long.

There are a few things that inmates do not tolerate and will punish you for themselves: crimes against children are O. of those things. They will probably keep him isolated, sadly.

Almost complete justice!

I have not yet read into all of it....once it became a media beat war I stopped listening and prayed for the right thing to happen.

He is a sick sick man....Someone who had alot of help in keeping hush hush...or just plain ignoring it because all they are cared about was WINING.

Perfect example though of Americans having there priorities in the wrong places......When making a MEGA College football team over rides a sick bastard raping small children....we have fallen into a new low.....

The sadder thing is there are people out there that still support him.....So we have alot more work to be done before we ever see real justice...

And for those three other counts I know some day he will be judged by his maker.....And I believe that judgement will be fair and just time in hell.

Relief. I was scared that they were taking 20 hours. I suppose they wanted to make the conviction stick, and not leave any room for jury injustice on appeals. I'm just so relieved. So thankful these boys who have never had a voice, can perhaps start a new chapter in their lives.

I wish charges could be brought against his wife. I will never believe she didn't know, and didn't have some sort of deal with him.

Not surprised at all and glad that our legal system worked in this case!

I truly hope that ALL who were involved, aware or suspected something and remained quiet are also prosecuted. The Penn State community should be ashamed of the vastness of this cover-up. There is no doubt in my mind that his wife was aware. She may have actively avoided confronting him, but too many kids for too long for it to have been a "secret".

too bad no O. was strong enough to do anything about it in 1998...think of how many victims could've been saved if good 'ole Penn State Football hadn't been a priority!!!

thank God our justice system worked....forever and ever amen he will be behind bars...hopefully getting the same treatment from his fellow inmates he dealt out to the boys he took advantage of.

I'm glad he was found guilty but I really don't need to hear it rehashed and rehashed during the 'breaking news' broadcast over and over...return me to my regularly scheduled programming!
