We had our daughter's one-year pictures taken there and they were great. I highly recommend them.

I have never tried Sadie's but I have tried Flash! which I believe just opened in Northbrook (I went to the one in Hawthorne). I was beyond impressed with them and spent way to much money because I wanted ALL the pics :)

There was no limit on the poses they took and I don't think there was a time limit - at least I did not feel pressured to get moving.

We've been twice and love it, there are rooms and props that you can use for your pics, we used the bears it came out so cute. The best is that you get your pictures in an hour, they also do effects to the picture. The only problem is my son cried a lot and Sadies only gives you a half hour so we didn't take as many as we'd like. Plus they only give you a certain amount of shots. But overall it was nice.

if your not interested in dressing up or props maybe you should go with an individual photographer.
You may want something more contemporary. I am a photographer and i know there are a lot of other photographers in this area that provide this more unique style. Sometimes more expensive but if you watch people specials you can get low priced sessions. Sometimes I do days where I do half priced or mini sessions. may be the way to go, or worth a try some time.

We actually go to Kiddie Kandids in Babies R Us in Niles, they do great pictures. We opt not to do the dress up pictures, but you can look online at them and have an idea of the type of backgrounds you like before you go in. They also take reservations now online, when before it was walk in only.
