We just bought some apples but my 3 year old got a hold of a rotten one and ate some of it before we could get it from her. Do you think she will be ok or should I take her to the emergency room? I'm very worried and feels so horrible that she got a bad one.

What can I do next?

Unless she starts throwing up, don't worry. It's a mushy apple; that's all.
Unless you got the apples from the Evil Queen, you can relax.(I am trying to make you smile)

Good luck!

The most it will do is give her an upset stomach. There is nothing the hospital can do.

Even though a rotten apple is gross, if that is the worst thing she has ever put in her mouth your pretty lucky. She will be fine.

She'll be fine. She may get a tummy ache, but that is certainly not ER worthy.

Just think of it as cider. Unless it was moldy or she starts vomiting, it's fine.

She'll be okay... a rotten apple is just ultra sweet and soft and probably actually better for us than the stage we think we are supposed to eat them at.
Bananas for example, I like mine right after the green just disappears, I hate soft bananas yet the soft ones are the ones that carry more nutrients.... figures.

No. You do not need to run her to the ER for a rotten apple.

She might vomit or have diarrhea. It should not last more than 24 hours, if just once. Take a deep breath...she's fine...if she hasn't done either yet - she is fine....either way she will be fine.

If she gets really sick, have her see a doctor, but I highly doubt it will be more than a minor tummy ache, if she gets sick at all.
