Have any of you ever heard of using Rogaine on you eyebrows? Does it work? I am trying to reshape my eyebrows after a bad waxing job. I can't seem to get a few spots to grow back.

Please be very careful using Rogaine products if you have children!! It is not a safe product to have on you and interact with kids!

Hi K. -

Before you decide to use this on your eyebrows, you should know that Rogaine was originally created to treat Schizophrenia. The hair growth was a side effect of using this drug. When the pharmaceutical company realized this, they decided to market it for hair growth. I know that sounds crazy but it is true. The research is available on the internet. The skin is the largest organ on the human body and everything that touches your skin gets into your blood stream and then goes to your brain, heart, lungs, etc.

Remember to check out side effects before taking or using any pharmaceutical medications.

I've never heard of that but try taking Biotin, which is a dietary supplement that can be found at any store. It's great for skin/hair/nail support. It's great for hair and will help in problem areas.

I dont have any idea, but I am going to ask why you need it? If your eyebrows are disappearing, it is a sign of a thyroid problem. Correct the thyroid, and your eyebrows should return. (You can correct a thyroid problem with herbs.)

Hi K....I too, have that problem, but I do not have a thyroid anymore. If you find out that the Rogaine works please let me know!! I would definitely have your thyroid checked though. It's a simple blood test.
In the meantime...I have found that Estee Lauder makes the best, and most natural looking eyebrow pencil.

I've never intentionally used it on my eyebrows, but I did accidently get it in my eyes once, and boy did it burn and turn my eyes bloodshot for a few hours afterwards. So I wouldn't recommend using it anywhere near your eyes if you can help it. I have heard that Rogaine in generally only really works if you use it consistently. If you stop using it you will find you may loss your hair quicker (a rebound effect) then be right back where you started. For overplucked brows, visit the cosmetics counters at the department stores - many give free makeup advice - and they can show you how to apply eyebrow pencil like a pro to cover up the over plucked look, until it grows back naturally.

I actually have heard of using rogaine on your eyebrows. It is supposed to help your eyebrows grow back in certain areas if they have been ovrplucked and are not growing back. I'm not sure if it actully works. I've thought about trying it but have not yet. But I did hear about it from a pretty reliable source. Hope this helps.
