Hello Mama's,
My best friend and I are taking a quick road trip in June to Tulsa, OK for a wedding. Does anyone know of anything fun for us to do on our journey back home? Either in Tulsa or on the way back to Dallas?
BTW, no kids will be with us, just besting friends looking for some girl time.
Thanks!

Hi K.,
The cowboy hall of fame is in Oklahoma City. It's cheesy, but fun.
Not sure if you are taking kids, but there is a fantastic children's museum in Oklahoma - I think it's in Shawnee or somewhere just west of Oklahoma City. My daughter has been there and said it was one of her faves.
Its not fun, but it is extremely worthwhile to stop and see the OKC bombing memorial, if you haven't seen it before.
Have fun!

This website is very helpful for planning road trips.
when you get to okc if you take that way go to the okc zoo and the building right next to it. I cant remeber the name of it but it has all kinds of cool science things in it. eat at toby kieths bar and grill but be prepared to wait at least 30 min. while in tulsa i dont know the name of the resturant ask around tulsa someone will know what I am talking about go to the resturant that has a car for a salad buffet. its a mexican resturant. now when you are south of okc go to arbuckle wilderness. its an animal rescue thing. if you go to the washita mountains they have a cool church thing in them but I dont remeber which mountain. if you want to go drinking in okc go to the bar club rodeo especially if you like bull riding they ride 3 guys every half hour. it is really cool.its a younger crowd but it is still worth it. it is a blast. take a camera too.and have fun
Check out some of the web sites you can google about travel in that part of Oklahoma. There is a lot to do in and around Tulsa. Any Oklahoma tourism site will have everything along I-35 or even 75 towards Sherman. I enjoy trips between then 2 areas.
