R.S.
I do not think it is wrong. My question is why you feel the hospitals in Williamsburg are not equipped to handle twins. Has any concerns been voiced? If there is a problem with the twins after birth, they will be moved to an appropriate hospital. Can you ask if Riverside is one of those choices versus CHKD (southside) or a Richmond location. I choose to have my daughter at Riverside because of the NICU also, for the "Just in case". Are you happy with the care you are currently getting? Have they voiced any concerns? Keep in mind - Doctors may rotate hospital schedules - my daughter was delivered by a stranger from a different practice. I really liked him and moved to his office during my next pregnancy which sadly ended in a miscarriage. His name is Dr. John Lockhardt. You either like him or don't, there don't seem to be any middle of the road with him I have found. The practice also has some good midwives, I was seeing one (can't remember her name). The number is ###-###-####. They are located in Oyster Point Industrial Area. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
I read the other responses after writing mine - I see someone else likes Dr. Lockhardt!
