We are in the process of planning a move in July (Coppell to Frisco) and wanting to get recommendations for movers.
I have some very heavy/bulky funiture and some precious crystal/antiques, so I am looking for experienced movers.
Can you please make some recommendations for affordable/reasonable movers in the area to do a local move?

When we built our home we are in now, our move was less than 3 miles away.
I am VERY picky as I have some fine china and great quality furniture. We moved a lot of the smaller things ourselves, especially the things I was most picky about.
We hired Mayflower to to the rest. They did a great job with my classic Grandfather clock, china hutch, etc. We spent about $1000 but that included boxes for me to use with the things we moved ourselves.
Good luck!!
We used Broadway Express for two cross-country moves. They are very reasonably priced, but you have to box and load the stuff yourself. We had a great experience with them. We hired students to help us pack and load our stuff up--they weren't experienced per se, but they did a great job.
We always use Wrightway Movers in Frisco for the past 4 years http://www.wrightwaymovingco.com/Default.aspx. In fact, we just moved yesterday. They are always nice and friendly. I even make sure to provide them with any kind of beverage of choice (i.e. gatorade, water, powerade..etc.) one guy loves fruit so I make sure to provide them with extra fruit. Considering our move was 6 hours due to the large amount of furniture, boxes, not to mention heavy furniture and workout equipment. They are always courteous and extra careful with my precious grandfather clock...it was my mom's. They have two different crews, we usually go with Jon's crew, a 3 man crew, $85 hr, one time fuel charge of $20, the fee also includes any disassemble or reassembly of furniture and no limit on the number of boxes.
