We see Dr. Barbara Light at Pediatric Aassociates. We also see Dr. Vitali and Dr. Ann. They are located in the Christiana Medical Arts complex. I interviewed them when I was pregnant with my first and was so pleased. Now that I have two children, I am greatful for their helpfulness (nurse advice hotline)and accomodating hours (Saturday and Sunday.) The number is ###-###-####.

Dr. Allen Friedland of the Healthcare Center Christiana, 200 Hygeia Drive, Newark, De 19713 is excellent. (Phone ###-###-####) He has telephoned to follow up with minor illnesses my daughter has had. He offers his pager when he feels it necessary. He is not over zealous with vaccines or medications. He makes himself readily available for any questions you may have. He has just been fantastic overall. He has cared for my daughter from approximately 4 months of age (she is 3 now) and will care for our newborn boy who is due to arrive in July. Dr. Barbara Light at Pediatric Associates in Newark (Christiana Medical Pavilion 2). She is really great with my kids and a really good communicator with parents. Also in the same practice, Dr. D'Amato is fantastic with children and parents. Dr, M at the same practice is newer, currently on maternity leave, but is really good as well.
I have two boys, both had acid reflux and Dr. Light was right on target getting them diagnosed and treated. Also, the office staff is really great. I remember one time when my youngest was sick and Dr. M waited up all night for test results to come in to see if my little one had a then she called us to let us know so we wouldn't worry.
We go to Kids First. They have offices in Kennett and Avondale. I've been really happy with their nursing staff. In our other pediatrician's office, we really dealt mostly with the nursing staff so that was a key point for me. The docs are all great and really kid focused. They're associated with both Children's Hosp and AI Du Pont.
