Hi Moms, My 18 month LOVES bubbles and we have been flying through them. Does anybody have a really good bubble recipe that they like? Thanks.

hi~
We do this in my class.
9 Cups of water
1 Cup of clear Dawn dish soap
1 Cup light corn syrup
It makes beautiful bubbles, that you can save in all those empty bubble jars.
Use colorful, shaped, plastic cookie cutters as a fun bubble blower.
Have FUN!!!!
Hi J....
Got this recipe many years ago when my kids were little, actually from Kohl's Children's Museum.
Get a tub... (plastic or a large roasting pan will do.)
Dawn soap, Corn starch & water...Play around with the amounts. You can use a children's plastic hanger as the wand, it works really well.
I've spent many a day the bubbles out side.
LOL.. now even when I do my Jigglejam Show for kids I still often do bubbles. ( I am a bubble nut)
P.S. Target always has great bubble makers. They are just a couple of dollars & I collect them in the summer... to last me till the next summer :) Bubbles in the bath tub in the winter were always a big hit!
HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are talking about blowing bubbles here? I remmber using Joy dishwashing liquid. They come in larger sizes. If it's something else, I wrong...
My recipe is in my classroom, but I got it from DuPage Children's Museum and it is the BEST bubbles recipe. I know you use Dawn dish soap and glycerin but I don't know what else and I don't know the measurements. I am sure they would give it to you!
You can make them from cheap dish detergent/water thickened with cornsyrup or you could go to the dollar store and see if they still have some of the big refill containers for bubbles. They were around 48 ounces and filled the smaller bottles many times over. We also poured them into pie pans and used a wire hanger, reshaped and made huge bubbles.
Give him only half a bottle at a time. Have him seated on the bottom door step or in the lawn so he's not running around spilling. When he finishes the bottle that's it till tomorrow or the next time then move on to the next game. Maybe chalk the sidewalk. Let him have color fun so he's learning. Move on to the next game. Maybe you wiggle a jump rope on the sidewalk or driveway and have him jump over the wriggleing rope. Good for his exercise and wearing him out for a nap. An hour everyday for these sort of exercising fun is wonderful and should give you time to unwind while he's naping. Fresh air and exercise is the best thing you can do as a mom to this precious child. Have fun.
I have used the same recipe as Debbie G for years and years. In fact, I got it from my mom when I became a mom. It's terrific. Have fun!!!
