Never do anything that asks you for money. NO legitimate business would. All scams have to have an angle that sounds legitimate or else no one would fall for them. I would move on and look for something else.
Hi everyone,
I've been getting e-mails lately about job opportunities to become a rebate processor. I was wondering if anyone has tried this? They ask for money, which I'm always leary about, but it does sound like it might be legite. Thanks.

I actually looked into this myself and found that most of these companies are a complete scam. I would recommend checking out any business through the Better Business Bureau www.bbb.org to ensure its legity before you send any money.

Hey A.!
I actually looked into that myself before starting my current career. After a couple of quick investigations, I found that they were not legit. So my advice would be to delete! :)
You are welcome to check out my website below to get more information on what a Great Company I have been blessed to work with for the last 7 years! Good Luck!

I just checked my email before going on mamasource, and guess what..... I deleted an email with the subject... become a rebate processor.
Hi A.,
Another lady on mamasource just asked a similar question yesterday. You may want to sift through yesterdays requests to see the replies she received.
Also, just because a business requests start up money does not mean that it is not legit. Starting a business will always cost some money. The question is, is it worth the asking price OR are you taking a risk. If there's is financial risk, then walk away. If there is not financial risk, then go for it.
If you're in the market of exploring business opportunities, I welcome you to appraise mine. We can do this via the telephone and/or via webcast. There is no financial risk. I've been in business for almost 4 years. I don't have to sell, stock or deliver products. Nor do I host parties. Not sure what you are looking for but you're welcome to give me a call and set up an appointment. I have a business profile set up in mamasource's business section also.

I have been getting those myself and have been somewhat curious.
Where are the e-mails coming from and did you send them a request to get more information?
There is an unbelievable amount of junk that people receive, all in the hopes that someone will fall for a scheme or a scam and be out money.
Google the company name to find out more about it. Check with the Better Business Bureau. And remember, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.
If I believed half of the garbage I've received in my inbox, I would have won the UK lottery at least a dozen times, been awarded a 'holding fee' for depositing some Ethiopian man's family money in my bank account, received an unending amount of gift cards for doing nothing but forwarding chain mail, AND I would have access to Bill Gates' fortune!
Hi A.,
I have also been looking into that. Let me know if you find anything out, and I will do the same.
Hi A.,
I was also thinking about joining this "business". Thanks God I did some research! Check out this website. http://www.ivetriedthat.com/index.php?s=rebate+processor
I'm a mother to a 3 year old and a 7 month old (both girls). I love staying home with them and having the opportunity to work as little or as much as I like.
I am a Pampered Chef Consultant. I started with them back in August 2007 when I was 7 months pregnant. There's nothing to it. The products sell it's self. The Pampered Chef is a great company with great people to help you achieve your dreams.
Let me know if this is something you may be interested in.
Good Luck!
