Hello Mama's!

My family and I are planning to move in December and was wondering if someone had a good moving company to recommend. Also, if you have had a bad experience with one, I would also love to hear your stories. Thanks for your time!!!

My husband and brothers-in-law put in over 40 years with the moving industry. United Van Lines is top notch. Particularly McCollister United. Happy holidays

Hi R.,
We used Mayflower a few years ago and while they were diligent with minding the hardwood floors, the materials they used to cover them- long white sheets with tape (?)- took the finish off in a few places when they pulled them up. We did get money from them for the damage but it wasn't easy. Other than the one minor bump, they were great.

Good luck!

The Professionals, no doubt the most honest and courteous movers that you will ever deal with! Their office is in Chicago, north side, and you can google them for references. website www.thepromove.com

Last year we used USA moving co and they were great, affordable and work very hard because we had so much stuff. I cant remeber the exact amount but i think it was about $###-###-#### to move our 4 bedroom, 3 level house with a huge fish tank and a ton of other stuff. They did not break or ruin anything. I would reccomend them for sure. Google usa moving and you can get their website.

Roy the Mover. Unbelievably inexpensive, shows up on time with a huge crew, and is very efficient. I have recommended to numerous friends and they all say the same.

We used Golans. I think they might of been a tad bit pricier than a few others, but they were amazing and extremely professional.

I would recommend Thompson Movers. We used them in April and our move went much smoother than expected. They were awesome.
