Re-upholstery

OK, this isn't exactly a parenting question but it is a home-making question! :) Can anyone recommend a good person to re-upholster dining room chairs? I was thinking I could do it myself but then realized the chair backs are sewn pretty precisely--not something I can do! I went to Calico Corners in Edina once and got an estimate for an amount that was more than the chairs are worth! So I'm looking for someone to do it at a reasonable price if I provide the fabric. Thank you!

What can I do next?

If you find someone you are happy with could you please post an update? I need some new cushions for my glider rocker. I posted something like this a year or two ago and didn't get any responses. I did find a company in Bloomington called ABC or something like that, but haven't gotten there yet so I can't say if I recommend them. I might look into some of the responses you got.

My MIL is supposed to be getting me the name/number of someone who does upholstery out of her home (in Eden Prairie I think). Once she gives it to me, I'll send you a message. She's out of town this week, so it might be a day or two before I get it to you. I'll watch your post for other resources too!

There is a company in Chan... over on Market Blvd. (by the Wendys/Cub/ACE Hareware) that is tucked in the corner by te dog food store and apparently is very good. I'm not sure how much they cost, but I do know that they run 10-20% off coupons in the local papers. I'm sorry that I can't remember the name... I'm sure you could google it.
