It should be fine. I can't imagine anything would be wrong with it... after all, you can store peanuts in the fridge to help them retain freshness...
My husband accidentally refrigerated our peanut butter. It's been in there for about a week. Will it go bad if we take it out? Will it be gross from being in the fridge? It's Peter Pan, if that helps.

We always store our open peanut butter jars in the fridge and it's always fine. We only keep the unopened jars in the pantry.
Like another responder mentioned - some of the natural peanut butters recommend that you keep them in the fridge. I never have, however because it makes them impossible to stir...it should be a normal consistency once it warms up a bit.
It should be fine. We keep our peanut butter in the fridge because we get the one that doesn't have the added ingredients that keep it mixed. When it's cold the oil doesn't seperate. Sometimes I do need to put a little in the microwave to soften it up though.
It's fine to take it out.
Take it out it will be fine or leave it in. Your preference.
It's fiiine. Peter Pan is so soft it'll warm up and be just as yummy. We never put the peanut butter in the frig.
We almost use pb on an HOURLY basis around here so cold pb would be a baaaaad thing.
It will not hurt the peanut butter to refrigerate it. It will be harder/stiffer while cold, but when warmed up to room temp it should handle the same as always.
so wierd lol...my 4 year old did that not long ago. it was just the very last of the jar (and of course, cold, it was hard as a brick) so i threw it out. good to know it would have been fine!
When I was growing up, we always kept our peanut butter in the fridge. For years I thought it was one of those products that had to be refridgerated after opening.
I don't think it would go bad if you took it out. However, I would just keep it in the fridge.
