Not sure why I started recording the Rachael Ray show, but now I'm hooked. Mostly when she gets to her meals at the end. They all look so delicious and easy to make. She also mentions her magazine that I'm thinking I may like. I'm just wondering if it's a good magazine. What all does she discuss in it? Do her recipes from the show appear in the magazine? Does she have lots of recipes in it? Is the magazine worth your money?

The magazine looks great, the (many) recipes look and sound great, but everything I made from the one I purchased was really lacking in taste! I am a very good cook, and I was actually very surprised, but I've never bought another RR magazine. It was a huge disappointment.

I've been getting her mag for 2 years now. While I do like it, I mostly take ideas from it and apply them to my own cooking style. I don't usually make her exact recipes because I think she uses to many ingredients that I don't always have on hand. She does include alot of helpful tips as well as product reviews. Her tips and products usually range from very affordable on up the scale. She does give alot of variety that I think appeals to everyone. It is also a pretty affordable mag (i think $16 for the year) and something easy to flip through when you have a few minutes or don't want to have to really engross yourself in reading.

My DFW Mommy is always mentioning deals on this magazine (usually less than $5.00 for a year's subscription - definitely a price that allows you to check it out without feeling guilty that you spent too much). Here's a link: http://www.mydallasmommy.com/2010/03/everyday-with-rachel...

If that doesn't work, just go to www.mydfwmommy.com and enter "Rachael" in the search box on the left.

Good luck!

I liked her magazine. I got a subscription for Christmas one year. She usually has quite a few recipes in it plus articles on all kinds of things, like party planning, travel, etc.

Although I can't stand her show or her voice, I really like her magazine. Sometimes a special is run where a one-year subscription costs $5. Good luck. Oh, and I also can't stand her annoying husband -- I had to put that in.
