I'm a sucker for Dr. Seuss's Oh the Places You Will Go! You can take bits and pieces of the poem and strategically places them around the room. Here's a link with the full text:

I wanted to put up a quote or saying up in my son's room who is 4 months old. Was having a hard time coming up with one that I really liked. Any suggestions?

I just put this one up in my son's room, "Boy, noun: a noise with dirt on it".
"We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations." (Charles Swindoll)
"Be the change you wish to see in the world." (Ghandi)
"A child can ask questions that a wise man cannot answer." (Author Unknown)
"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about." (Angela Schwindt)
"The only thing worth stealing is a kiss from a sleeping child." (Joe Houldsworth)
Good luck!
It would help to know what the theme of the nursery is ...
Something from Shel Silverstien 'Where the Sidewalk Ends', or Winnie Pooh, 'Hundred Acre Wood'
This is my favorite site when I need something for a thank you note, invitation, etc.
Its not my site, but I wish it was.
"I love you forever."

My niece has a wooden plaque in her son's room that says "Always Kiss Me Goodnight!" Very cute!
"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" from Dante's Inferno, but that probably applies more to my 3 1/2 year old. :D I need to put that up in my living room.
I have a soft spot for children's literature, from nursery rhymes to chapter books, especially things like Wind in the Willows. You could flip through something that matches your theme and find something that way. I just made a board with a collage picture of Max from Where the Wild Things Are chasing the dog with a fork and wrote "Devin's Room" on it. I think I actually used the Dante quote as well, we just haven't put it up yet.
