Hi A., did you get any help, are you feeling better? If you steel in need of help please call me.

I'm always late for my period (as in I have fertility issues big time), and had my second MC in 12 months right before xmas. I've been very uncomfortable, heavy in the breasts/tingly with milk etc. ever since I miscarried. Anyone else have this happen? I'm making small amounts of colostrum, having cramps, feeling achey and PMS-ing etc. I have not started a period since the MC, and am definitely not pregnant.
How long does it normally take to get a period after a miscarriage? FYI, this is especially weird because it was an extremely early pregnancy, as in I got a faint positive, went in for a serum test, scored an 8 and started bleeding the next day. All other pg tests have been negatives, so I know it was a dud. My previous mc last year was a bit further along and I do not recall feeling so heavy/full/bloated and tingly in the breasts.
Okay, period showed up and breasts are still weird, but tingly milk feeling is over. No, I didn't see doc, I just had 2 serum tests and the first one showed very verylow HCG (I got an "8" when I should have been in the thousands) pregnancy dying and the second one showed zero pregnancy hormones, so I know everything is "out". MC happened over a month ago, I was just wondering if anyone else had "milk" after such an early MC. I'm not too broken up about it. I'm actually more thrilled that I'm ovulating regularly enough to get pregnant. It took 2.5 full years trying to have my daughter, and that was on meds to help prime my ovaries. Maybe as you get older you start popping more eggs, but they are often duds. In any case, I'll get there eventually. If not, I'm very lucky to have had my singleton. Thanks for all the sweet words, ladies. You are all very kind.

Make an appointment! You need a medical evaluation to determine the cause of your symptoms...a
I think you should go see your Gyno. Maybe you need a D & C?
Have you been to the Dr? I got a period when I was 6 weeks prego, and thought I had lost the baby. But in fact I just dropped an egg from the other side and was still prego. Check it out if you have not been told by a Dr that you lost the baby.
Hi A.,
I'm really sorry to hear about the miscarriage. It's a heartache. I also had one at 10 weeks before the birth of my only daughter.
I agree with the other Mom posting that you should go see your Doc. Have your hormone levels checked with a blood test. They should be monitoring your hormones anyway so if there's a problem (i.e. an incomplete miscarriage), you can get a D&C.
That's what happened to me. No fun, any of it, but you need to get back to pre-pregnancy hormone levels.
Good luck. Again, sorry for your loss.

Hi A.,
I'm so sorry about your loss. I had a miscarriage late in August and it was just like yours - got the positive result on the Wednesday (but period wasn't due until Friday) miscarried on Sunday.
I bled and bled for about two weeks and my breasts hurt, like I was pregnant, for several weeks afterwards. My doc told me that I could feel the 'symptoms' of pregnancy for a couple of months after because your hormones go wacky when you lose a baby. Apparently this can be worse with your second child because your body knows what to do, so your breasts fill, etc. I have toddler too.
I guess what I'm saying is that I think it's fairly normal. Hang in there.

Hi A.,
I'm sorry for your loss. I too had a miscarriage late last year. I was 6 weeks. Got the test from the dr on Thur and miscarried on Monday, after trying for 9 months. My period started as if the miscarriage was my last period. I'm pretty regular, I'm just on a longer cycle, but it showed up 31 days after (which is my cycle). Just a reminder, you will have horrible cramps! No one warned me and I seriously thought I would pass something it hurt so badly.
Best of luck,
C.
After my 1st miscarriage I didn't have a period for 50 days. I too am irregular but this was ridiculous. I think the body just has a weird way of fixing itself. Good Luck.
