Hey. So this is my first month of taking Clomid so I have not been sure of what to expect. First of all...do you get the syptoms while you are taking the Clomid or when you are ovulating? Has anyone ever heard of ovulating late on Clomid? Also what kind of symptoms did you get on it? I am currently on day 25 of my cycle. I was nauseated all day yesterday and had sharp pains in my ovary. This morning I woke up and I am so sick to my stomache I feel like I could throw up, I have an awful headache, and my eyes have been really sensitive to the light. I am also having a little stomach pain, which could be that I have hardly eaten anything all day. And I am having some light spotting. Oh and I took a pregnancy test this morning that was negative. I am going to call my doctors office to see if they can tell me what is going on, but I would really like to know what everyone else has felt on Clomid too. Thank you so much! :)

What can I do next?

I took Clomid for 6 months while trying for our 2nd baby and the only symptom I had were severe headaches - however - I am prone to migraines, so it was a side effect I was expecting. Can i suggestion something. I am not aware of our journey towards a baby, but we tried to have our 2nd baby for 7 years (even failed IVF)! Finally I had heard of something called the "OV Watch" which if you are having ovulation issues - works wonders. We got pregnant using Clomid and the OV Watch on our 2nd month!! My OB had never heard of it before and I wound up bring in all the info from the website. He is now recommending it to other patients. The month we got pregnant I too ovulated really late in the cycle - but the watch will tell you that. Please check it out - I try to let everyone trying for a baby know about this since it was our miracle and hopefully it can save other families from repeated heartache.
Best wishes ~
Jodi

The pain could have been the release? I was MAJORLY hormonal. Crying, etc.

I have heard of some people ovulating late on clomid if they normally ovulate regularly. I took 2 cycles of clomid before getting pregnant and ovulated on day 16 and day 20. And there are DEFINITE side effects. Nausea, hot flashes, headaches, etc. I have heard many people say clomid makes them a crazy person.

I think your pain could have been a stronger ovulation due to the clomid. Are you charting your BBT or using ovulation tests?

Are you using an ovulation kit to find out if when you are ovulating? This is an important tool when using Clomid.

It's been too many years for me to remember what I felt when I took Clomid but I do remember the emotional roller coaster because I wanted to be pregnant so badly. (During the fifth cycle of Clomid I became pregnant with my now 7 year old son.)

Good luck to you!
