Instead of a diet how about a meal change? I have battled with weight a few times in my life, and have found that forcing your metabolism to speed up is the best and longest lasting way to lose weight. It takes a while for the weight to drop off and some light exercise is necessary to help your metabolism.
Heres what you do. 1. STOP eating ALL fried foods. If you eat fried chicken and french fries, go with baked, or grilled chicken and a baked potato, not loaded. 2. Start eating smaller portions and eat several fat free snacks throughout the day. You should eat like 10 small meals/ snacks a day. One of my favorite snacks was fat free pretzels, fruit and veggies. And for something sweet always remember that gummie bears are fat free. You should still eat your primary meals, breakfast lunch, and dinner, but they should be just enough to take away the hunger. You want to keep yourself a little bit hungry. My fiance' used to get so mad that I was hungry every 2 hours, but it sure helps me keep weight down. 3. Walk, after you eat a large meal, and anywhere you can. Park far away from the store, go to the mall and walk briskly.
I did these 3 things, and I am not one to stick with things, but once you have made it part of your lifestyle it's quite easy to maintain, and you will continually lose weight until your body reaches it's safe and healthy weight. I gained over 75 pounds with my son, and lost most of it within the first year, and now 2 years later I can totally splurge and eat some ice cream, or some candy, or something just not healthy and dont put on any weight!
Good luck on your findings and remember that diets usually dont stick.
If you have any questions I would be glad to help just send a pm.
