Question About Recovery

This really sounds like a question better posed to your doctor.

I would go but I have the feeling death is about the only thing that will stop me from doing stuff.

Edit: I had my ACL repaired three weeks ago through scoping. I was allowed fully in water after a week. I am assuming when you say five little holes it was laproscopic? If that is the case you should be fine. Still call your doctor if you are unsure.

What procedure did you have? Abdominal incision or I can't think of what it's called when bombarded while in water.

I wouldn't ride in the water if you had an incision. I suggest you ask your doctor.

I've been to a water park with my children and just watched. Not as much fun but I still enjoyed it.

I would ask the doctor. He/She can give you an ok or no go. It also depends on how active you want/will be, going to just be with family, maybe sit in the lazy river or are you thinking of going on the more wild slides/rides.

I can only go off having a c-section and I was told to not let the sore soak in water till it was fully healed. If not fully healed it can get an infection from an outside source (this seems highly possible at a waterpark). I would really really call the doctor office and ask them 3 weeks may be enough time or it may not.

I would ask the doctor, but my guess is you will probably be OK. Get a few waterproof bandaids to put of the 3 small incisions. I had my gallbladder out, and I was back to normal activities within a week.
