I am looking to buy a new purse. Wondering if there is a site that you mamas enjoy using or have fround a purse style that is very userfriendly for a mom. I am very flexible in style so that is not an issue. Any advice is appreciated.

What can I do next?

I second the suggestion of Miche bags. They have 4 different sizes and a TON of shells to go on them. Also, if you search eBay, you can find the base and the shells (some original, some home made). I got my bag and 2 covers for around $60. My sales person has sales a lot where she will get rid of old shells for really cheap, so I have bought a couple more that way.

My requirements for a purse are that it be real leather, be made for carrying on my shoulder comfortably, have lots of pockets inside, and that it have a zipper compartment that divides the main part of the bag in two, to make it easier to find stuff (a big bag that you have to rummage around in is a pain). My favorite is a Michael Kors bag that I got for a great price at TJ Maxx. (That's a great place to look for really good purses.)

My friends love the Miche bags, but I am too addicted to bags to get started on one of those! I LOVE to get them from Ross. Purses are more a personal style than anything else - I love "hobo" bags it all just goes in there together ... inside my bag I have smaller bags that hold things like my lip gloss/chapsticks, pens and post its, my wallet is on its own, I have one that holds important papers/mail that I may need that week, my glasses case (sun/regular) and one for gum/treats. It's easy for me to keep everything in smaller bags (cute make up bags) inside my hobo bag than try to use the different pockets in "traditional" purses.

Zappos, Amazon and Piperlime have pretty good handbag selections.

I personally love Big Buddha bags. Often you can find them on sale online or in stores. They are fashionable, looks more expensive than they are and comes in various sizes. Most bags tends to be big so that helps to pack all the kiddos stuff.

I have fell in love with my purse from Baggallini. They are a company that was started by flight attendants so the bags are tough, lots of places for organization, lots of sizes and colors. I got mine at The Woods in Maple Grove but I know that a lot of stores carry them plus you can go to there website as well.

My favorite purse isn't a traditional purse. It's the Healthy Back Bag from LL Bean. I have this one http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/59217?feat=847-GN1 but they make smaller ones as well as ones in leather.
It holds so much and is so comfortable to carry! I can get in and out of it all day while still carrying my child in the sling. I can carry a small diaper changing kit in there so I don't need to lug around an extra diaper bag for general running around, I can leave it in the car and only bring it on day long trips. I can carry my son's extra pair of glasses, all my necessary stuff, the camera, various wires for phones and battery chargers for the camera when we're out. It is sturdy. In the past nearly 11 years I've had 3 of them. I use them until they start looking ratty. There's a ton of organizing pockets and I use cute cosmetic bags for the inside big part to keep everything neat and tidy and easy to find.
I really love mine!
