Typically women do not get puppps in more than one pregnancy. Although I am curious as to what you did to cure it? Through my learning I was always told there is no cure except delivery.
hello again - during my first pregnancy at 28 weeks gestation i developed PUPPPS - if you moms know or experienced this it's probably the worse thing you would ever experience in your entire lifetime. Thankfully I am big on research and found a cure and found out why woman get it and got rid of it 2 weeks before the baby was born. However most times, this doesn't go away until you have the baby. Remembering from the research I did 7 years ago it said it would only happen once. But what are the real chances of it happening again? This is baby number 3 and I was lucky with baby number 2. Has anyone ever experienced this more than once?

I think i had that , isnt that the REALLY itching rash thing? I didnt do the research so had to suffer the last 2 months. I found cold wash cloths helped sooth the itchness so i could sleep.
I didnt' get it with baby #2. But i also didnt have the diabetes either that time. Maybe since i was taking L-Carnitine. A fatty acid that helps cirrculation. BONUS it gave me energy and helpped reduce the feeling of restless leg syndrome. Having a kid to take care at home might have helped too, had to eat regularly
No I haven't. Only with my first, but I only have two in all, so no experience with a third pregnancy. Just wanted to chime in and cast my experience into the poll. :)
i heard you just get it once too, but i couldnt verify its truth.... (i also heard that 70% of women that have puppps went on to deliver boys - something about the male hormone??)
Anyhow, I did not have it w/ my 1st pregnancy but got it with my 2nd. (along with a bunch of other goodies I didn't have to go thru the first time around! Like morning sickness, rhinitis, hemorrhoids, etc...) I ended up having a girl too.
I have 4 kids, and only had it with my second one. I think most people get it for their first, but for some reason, I didn't. Good luck to you!
