Hi Moms!
I am trying to think of some ways to bring in a little extra income. I'm working 40hrs a week (8:30-5:30 M-F) and am thinking about trying to get a part-time job on weekends -- either working someplace or from my home. The only thing I've been able to think of so far is applying at retail stores or babysitting -- does anyone have any other suggestions? Do businesses even hire weekend-only employees anymore? Anyone want/need a weekend babysitter?

THANK YOU!!!

Hello S.

A second job will take more time from Ian. If you would like to consider a home based business, consider one that comes with....

No large investment
No inventory
No orders to take or deliveries to make
No billing or collections
No presurring customers to purchase
No complicated paperwork
No repeat sales presentations/parties
No risk - 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

Let me show you a 21 year proven solution offered by my company. It only takes about 35 minutes. We can do this over the phone or you take a look at an online visual presentation. No pressure, no obligation, no inconvenience. But enough information to help you make an informed decision for you and Ian.

S.,

I have a home based business and I am looking for three good people to join my team right now. I'm looking for people who are motivated, like talking with other people, enjoy teaching and helping others and have 10-15 hours a week to dedicate.

I'm bummed I didn't see your message earlier. We had a meeting that explained the opportunity at the Mercedes dealership in Hoffman Estates on Saturday -- not too far from you right?

Anyhow, if the above fits your characteristics, please contact me and we can set up a time to talk more. My direct email address is ____@____.com or phone number is ###-###-####.

I was going to say, how about a home business? Most of them have very small start up costs. There are several to choose from. 1. The surprise parties (depending on your comfort with parties of this nature).
2. Pampered Chef
3. Mary Kay
4. Avon
5. Tupperware
6. Purses
7. Jewelery
8. Children's toys
I have heard really good profts from Surprise parties and pampered chef. Mary Kay and Avon you tend to have to put a lot more effort forward to make sales. And I don't know much about the others. Best of luck to you. I am also thinking about doing some type of home party business. I have a couple of contacts for the Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, and Surprise parties if you are interested I will forward them to you.
Best of luck. Oh yeah, there are companies (mainly retail) that will hire part time/weekends only.

S.-

I just started selling Jewelry for a company called Lia Sophia. I love it! I only do it on weekends because I also have a full time job. I started in June so I have only done a few shows. I started with my friends and family and have gotten bookings from their friends and family- It is so easy and I love that I control my hours and the days I work- Here is my website please feel free to check it out. www.liasophia.com/jackiehugelier each show last about 3 hours and you make about $150-$200 per show- The actual time you spend with customers explaining prices and telling why you do it takes only about 20 minutes. The rest of the time is spent writing up orders. I promise you if you decide to do it you won't regret it. When I went to my friends show (before I got hooked) I thought there has got to be some down fall to this because it really seems to good to be true, but I haven't found it yet- If you decide to try it let me know I will help you- If not wish me luck! IT IS SO EASY!!!

Hi S.,

I was in your situation not too long ago. I am a divorced mom to a 17 year old son and about 4 years ago, I started my own home based business with an International Wellness Company. I have since been able to quit my full-time job and work my business full-time from home. I am currently looking for a partner and would love to talk with you.

Sincerely,

A friend of mine worked for a company called True Helpers, where the service they provide is party planning. She worked as a server or bartender at parties like graduations, holiday parties, corp. events. She also was responsible sometimes for set up and take down of food as well as tables/chairs for those events. Once you work like 6 parties or something then you can make up to $15 per hour. Those parties almost always occur during the weekends so it might be perfect if you have someone to watch your son. The only thing with that company is that the boss was rough around the edges, but she was a good person on the inside. Here's a link to their website: http://www.truehelpersinc.com/

Good luck!
