I'm looking into my options for childcare for my one year old when I return to work. I just wanted some feedback on what people pay per week for in home daycare or a childcare facility. I need to create a budget and I have no idea what the going rates are for childcare. Thank you all!!

It depends on the area you're in. Call dome daycares in your area and compare prices. In my neighborhood, I charge $170 for that age.
you can look up centers or home daycare's by name or zip (and see past inspections by the license board) at http://199.250.30.131/childcare/provider/providersearch.aspx)

Hi B.,
Daycare is expensive $600 a month seems like the cheapest, but make sure you visit the daycare becuase on my hunt for one i saw things i shouldn't have, i thought to myself how could the state let some one open a daycare that is a hole in the wall!

I will be opening a home daycare soon and I will be charging $150 a week for all ages. In my research I found that to be a very common rate for home daycare.
